Depending on which iPod Touch you have, 1st generation or 2nd gen., you will be able to find the BEST cases here: http://switcheasy.com/
the two most popular ones are the NeoTouch and the RebelTouch, unfortunately those are only for the 2nd generation (hopefully you have that one)
there are detailed descriptions when you check out the cases at that website. They run for about 30 bucks each, but you are definitely getting your money's worth.
Also, if you are looking for a screen protector, you may want to check out invisibleSHIELD by Zagg. Very reliable.
