what reed size should i buy for a tenor sax?
I really don't know much about reeds, i usually buy what my high school teacher has that are only 2.5 reeds.
depends on how long you have been playing, and what brand it is. i personally use a 2.5 vandoryn java on my soprano sax, a 3 vandoryn on my alto, and a 3 rico royal on my tenor... check out the mouthpeice too, certain mouthpeices work better with different sizes. if you have an unmarked one, get one with a brand name and stats to check which sizes work well.
