How much money should i sell this clarinet for?
I have a wooden Jupiter clarinet, that comes with the original case, ligature, grease, reed saver, all pads are great, plays amazingly, it has every part to it.
I bought it in 2008 for around one thousand dollars, and my last year of band is going to be over soon so i'm trying to figure out how much money i should be able to sell it for?
Because it came out in 2008 it is more likely to sell if you sell it for $600 or less. But because the clarinet is worth more than that you should make sure to give as much detail about it. It sounds like its professional or at least intermediate so say what level of clarinet it is. If it has silver plating on the keys then make sure to say that. If it looks nice then take pictures of it and upload them if you are selling online. Make sure not to miss any detail that could make people think more of it. First try selling for about $800 then if that doesn't work try $750 or $700. If it doesn't sell for that much then try taking it to a shop and ask how much they would pay for it.
Hint: Don't say $800 say $799. Good Luck.
