Anyone Know About Laval and Bundy Clarinets?
I've played the clarinet for 9 years. And i've always played a Leblanc or a noblet. And i've heard of a bundy but don't know much about it anyone know about them??? And i've never heard of a laval? Anyone know about those????
I don't know Laval at all.
Bundy was the lowest level beginner model made by the Selmer company and was replaced by the Selmer II and Selmer USA models. They are mass manufactured and are generally durable but are not the best quality clarinet on the market. They are generally the least expensive of the brands that are worth using and you can expect that any purchased used online will need a service call of $70-100 to be a useful instrument.
Some players really like them for use in marching band because they are very durable and easy to have repaired.
The Bundy is nowhere near the quality of a Leblanc Paris or a Noblet model. The Laval (according to web reviews) is nowhere near a Bundy.
