Rock music for jazz band?
I'm currently teaching a jazz band (instruments include sax, clarinet, guitar, piano, trombone, trumpet, bass, drums, etc.) and my students want to play a few rock songs (Kashmir, Light my Fire, Tom Sawyer.) I know I can't find all of these, but is there a website that sells some of these songs or similar ones? Thanks.
Well, although those may be hard to find, the score for Frankenstein by Edgar Winter Group is much easier to find. And it's a pretty decent piece. Your kids would like it. I'm sure most of them have heard it.
