contents insurance claim?
we have never claimed insurance before but we were burgled last week and some electronic items were stolen. Here is a list, 1 passport, 1 man bag (designer) i assume they put the stuff in it!!!, 1 xbox with 5 games, headset and controller, 2 ipods, brand new black wii with 4 games and a ds lite with 2 games. the insurance guy said as quite a lot of items were taken he will have to send a rep round to us next week. I don’t think these items are a lot for a robbery myself (they left the pcs and stereo, tv ect). is it normal to be sent a rep or is this a sign they wont pay out or they think we are lying??? what does the rep do when he comes to see us as I have been through it with the police when giving my statement and also the insurance company over the phone already!
