Changing alto sax reeds?
I have a gig on Sunday and I need to buy new reeds.
And the mo I use Rico Alto Sax 1 1/2..
I want to increase the.. strength is it? But I don't know how long it takes to get used to.
So basically, if I get a different reed will I be able to use it on Sunday?

1 1/2 is extremely thin.
For your gig, try getting one of what you're used to. I suggest trying Van Doren reeds, they are typically of better quality than plain Rico reeds.
For jazz, Rico Jazz Selects aren't bad. Van Doren ZZ, v16, and Java reeds are also good choices.
It will take you some time getting used to blowing more, maybe a week. Use what you're used to, but also buy some reeds that you can use after your gig. I would up the strength to 2 or 2 1/2
